Air Guard FLD-4 Key Features

  • For Air Guard Sanitizing Vaporizers
  • Produces a Sanitizing Fog
  • Inhibits Bacterial Growth

Made for Air Guard sanitizing vaporizers, this Bottle of FLD Antibacterial Solution from Air Guard is used to create a sanitizing fog that forms a protective layer on all exposed surfaces and objects. This helps to inhibit bacterial growth. This bottle gives you 135 ounces of antibacterial fluid.

The disinfecting fog forms a protective cover in all directions on the surfaces of all the objects. It’s safe for human bodies. Even if the objects remain untouched for about 4 weeks, the disinfectant ingredients resolved in the environment by itself.

What is the active ingredient in FLD for sterilisation?
Umbelliferol, which is an effective antibacterial agent approved by the Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare. It has good sterilisation ability and can kill a variety of bacteria, yeast, fungi and viruses. It can also inhibit oxidation.

Is the disinfection ingredient harmful to humans?
Umbelliferol is safe, the ratio of disinfection ingredients used is within the guidelines set by the Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare.

How does the FLD Disinfectant work?
The FLD05 disinfectant works by denaturing the virus’ proteins, which makes it incapable of binding to human cells.
It is effective against the influenza virus and general pneumonia. It has not yet been tested against the COVID-19 virus, as it is currently regulated by the government and no samples are available to test at this period.

What is the fragrance of FLD?
FLD05 has menthol and fruity fragrance.

How long can FLD be stored?
FLD05 has a shelf life of 5 years and should be stored in a cool area out of direct sunlight. Once opened, it should be used within 6 months.

How much smoke is required and how long does it take?
The AG800 can produce one cubic metre of smoke in 2 to 3 seconds.
If disinfecting a car, turn the air conditioner to recycle and use for 30 seconds at a time.
After the smoke is sprayed, allow 5 to 10 minutes for the smoke to circulate and cover the space in order to disinfect.

How long does the effect last?
This depends on the environmental conditions, such as ventilation and number of human movements.
For example, disinfection in a car for personal use can be effective for 2 weeks. However, a car used frequently for business should be disinfected each day.

In general, the more occupied a location is, the more frequently it should be disinfected.

Note: The machine itself has no sterilisation function. The FLD liquid provides the sterilisation function. The sterilisation provided by smoke machines is completely different from ozone machines or air cleaners.
