The Bosch PR20EVS Colt Electronic Variable-Speed Palm Router is a versatile tool that's ideal for such custom carpentry jobs as rounding the edges of deck planks and railings, mortising hinges, trimming countertop laminates and completing other precision routing. This router packs big power in a small, compact package, for maximum accuracy and extended comfort. The palm router has advanced electronics, such as variable-speed control and soft-start circuitry.
Constant speed under load - The PR20EVS Palm Router features Bosch's Constant Response circuitry, which monitors and maintains a consistent speed by detecting heavy loads and increasing power to maintain the selected rpm. Working with stable speed helps ensure clean, burn-free cuts. The motor also has soft-start to reduce startup torque.
Grip and control - This palm router was engineered with an ergonomic design so the user can have better control for quality results and reduced fatigue. The motor housing of the unit has a palm-shaped, rubber over-molded soft grip that allows for a solid, comfortable grip. It includes an angled cord exit to keep the router's cord out of the way.
